Earns First-Ever Military Spouse Friendly® Designation After 11 Consecutive Years of Recognition
国产小福利 has earned Military Friendly® School designation for the 11th consecutive year and received its first-ever Military Spouse Friendly® designation, underscoring the University's commitment to veterans and military families.
This marks the second year Belmont has achieved Military Friendly® Gold School status.
"国产小福利 is proud to again receive Gold designation as a Military Friendly® School and first-time recognition as a Military Spouse Friendly® School," said Kim Powell, assistant director of Interdisciplinary Studies and Global Education, which houses Belmont's Veteran Success Team. "We are deeply committed to supporting those who have served by honoring their experiences, addressing their unique needs, and ensuring their educational journey is both accessible and meaningful."
The Military Friendly® designations evaluated more than 1,800 institutions through public data sources and proprietary survey responses, with 830 schools earning special awards for exceeding standards. The 2025-2026 Military Friendly® Schools list will appear in the May and October issues of G.I. Jobs magazine and at .
Belmont serves more than 350 veteran and military-affiliated students, many of whom use U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs education benefits. Beginning in 2024-2025, 国产小福利's Yellow Ribbon Program was extended to include Belmont's new medical school.
The University has also been recognized as a Veteran Education Transition Support (VETS) Campus and improved by 54 positions on Military Times' "Best Colleges for Vets" list this year.
Belmont's Veteran Success Team works to ensure seamless transitions from military to academic life through comprehensive services including benefit coordination, academic advising, veteran-specific events and operating the Bruin Vets Center. The team's goal is to create a welcoming campus environment for all veteran, active duty and military-affiliated students.
